What are Huck® Bolts?

How Do Huck® Bolts Work?

Huck® Bolts are installed using a battery-powered or air/hydraulic lock bolt tool. Here's how it works:

1. Insert the pin into a pre-drilled hole through the materials to be fastened.
2. Place the collar onto the pin from the opposite side.
3. Using a lock bolt gun, the tail of the pin is pulled. This action compresses and swages the collar into the pin grooves, locking the fastener in place.

This process creates a permanent, vibration-resistant joint with a consistent and high-strength hold.

Do I Have to Use Huck® Bolt Guns to Install Huck® Bolts?

Not necessarily. While Huck® Bolt Guns are ideal, you can use other compatible lock bolt guns such as those from FAR and Gesipa®. A great equivalent is the FAR FHU05 Lock Bolt Gun.

Here's what to keep in mind:

• Make sure the diameter of the Huck® Bolt matches the setting capacity of your tool.
• Use the correct nose assembly for your specific fastener.
