The GAV Automatic Rivet Gun system consists of a combination of hardware and software components. You can operate the rivet gun variants manually or integrate them into robotic systems.
Three different installation guns are available:
A standard rivet gun with a hose assembly fed from below
The standard rivet gun is for manual operation and is compatible with vertical and horizontal riveting. This variant offers the most economical option and allows an additional handle to improve ergonomics, reducing operator fatigue. This is particularly beneficial in a vertical riveting process application.
An overhead rivet gun with a hose assembly fed from above
The overhead rivet gun prevents the hose assembly from blocking the operator's legs. The overhead rivet gun also helps avoid contact between the hose and sensitive surfaces. This is also available with contact pressure monitoring.
A robotic rivet gun
The robotic rivet gun can be used as part of fully automatic manufacturing systems and assembly lines operated by robots. You can configure it with an additional handle (with a trigger button) for manual operations.
GAV 8000 Eco and Electronic
The Gesipa GAV 8000 Automatic Riveting Machine comes in two versions. One is the GAV 8000 Eco basic variant without installation process monitoring. The other is the GAV 8000 electronic variant for industrial manufacturing applications with integrated installation process monitoring.
Both versions will cut your time and costs by 50%. They can work alone, be part of a system, or connect to a robot.

Improved Technology
Gesipa engineers redesigned the GAV auto-feed riveting tool with efficiency in mind. Several system changes and a customised setup have reduced air consumption by up to 24%. Despite this reduction in compressed air requirements, the GAVโs performance has even improved under certain conditions.
The GAV upgrade has also achieved significant progress in residual mandrel disposal. These changes have made the vacuum much stronger. The hose package can now reach a length of up to 8 meters, compared to the previous maximum of 5 meters.
