Tool-Free Adjustment
The FireBirdie® features an innovative quick-change system allowing operators to change mandrels and nosepieces without tools. Simply remove the integrated light ring to access installation components and adjust mandrel length by hand.
Automatic Rivet Nut Engagement
The FireBirdie® automatically threads the rivet nut onto the mandrel by simply pressing the fastener onto the tool, reducing cycle times and improving productivity.

ThreadSafe Mode sets the rivet nut until either the defined setting force or the set stroke length is reached, whichever comes first. By combining both force and stroke control, this mode creates a particularly safe and controlled installation process. This double safeguard ensures the mandrel thread is protected from damage, even in the event of operator error, while always achieving a correctly set fastener. This reduces installation errors, protects the component and delivers maximum process reliability, making it especially suited to demanding or safety-relevant applications. Together with Force-Controlled and Stroke-Controlled modes, ThreadSafe gives operators the flexibility to adapt the FireBirdie® to their exact production requirements, whether on the line, in assembly or in mobile service use, ensuring every installation results in a precise, reliable connection. |
