The Plus Nut is a slotted body blind nutsert. It provides the ultimate pull-out strength in thin metals and plastic. Plus Nuts feature the widest grip range of any blind threaded inserts. The slotted body splits into four legs providing a wide load-bearing surface on the back side of the parent material. The pre-bulbed feature ensures easy installation.
The Jack Nut is a flat head slotted body blind nutsert. It is designed to be installed in soft or brittle materials such as plastic, paper or glass. During installation, the body of the Jack Nut will crimp to form a permanent and reusable thread, and 4 legs will expand behind the parent material, providing excellent pull-out resistance, especially in soft materials. They are suitable for light-duty applications.
A Rivstud, also known as a rivet stud, is a type of fastener consisting of a flanged nutsert body at one end and a threaded stud at the other. It is used to fasten two or more materials together, typically sheet metal or thin-walled structure, by creating a permanent, high-strength thread connection. It is optimal for use in hard metric dimensioned drilled or punched holes. A Rivstud is an alternative to a weld stud or a clinch stud. Rivstuds are available from M4 to M8 from RivetLab.
